Role: Software (Javascript) Team Lead
Location: Swindon (with WFH flexibility)
Salary: up to £66,000

Are you passionate about modern technology, keen to work on critical research projects, and looking for a step up into a Lead Software position? An experienced Lead Developer is required to manage and guide a new team of Developers, predominantly in Javascript, and Software Testers.
This innovative Public Sector organisation, with a budget of £6+ billion, are working on cutting-edge technologies, at a pivotal stage of research. The successful Lead Software Developer requires a split around 60% management, and 40% technical activities. Therefore, recent and strong hands-on technical capability is required for coding, code review, so to set the high standard and precedence for the team.

- Software: Javascript platform, ideally with a Web Development background
- Designing, coding and debugging web-based systems using any of the main languages and web-based frameworks (NodeJS, Java, .NET…)
- Technical leadership experience
- Extensive Agile Software Development and SCRUM experience
