We are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our client for 12 months to work on a Target Operating Model project for the HR department. This role is to work with a central government authority and as such requires all applicants to have active DV or SC clearance, obtained with a government authority.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Developing MVP version of the TOM to help Design and inform change communications
- Initially advising senior stakeholders on the essential TOM components
- Facilitating discussions to agree content
- Supporting contributors from the business as they create TOM content
- One-to-one engagement with a one of the three Policy Development leads from retained, tracking progress, reporting/escalating impediments
- Maintain end to end business model
- Responsible for facilitating strategic business analysis activities to determine strategic customer requirements to drive Business Improvement, Business Change and technical Development
- Applying a wide range of business analysis skills and techniques to investigate and solve a variety of complex problems, including Business Process Analysis and appropriate business architecture artefacts
- Develop business modelling artefacts to drive strategic business and technical development to ensure business needs drive strategic plans
Key requirements:
- Initiates and facilitates communication with a diverse set of senior stakeholders within the business, other Government departments and suppliers
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience of modelling techniques/notations such as UML, Use Cases, Entity Models, Data and Information Models, Process Models/Swim Lane diagrams
- Able to lead and manage people
- Able to build strategic relationships internally and externally
- Experience of influencing through the decision-making process
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Able to communicate clearly, articulate ideas and manage stakeholders
- Able to make clear plans, evaluate progress and articulate appropriately to the team and stakeholders
- Live DV or SC clearance obtained through a government authority
Role details:
Location: London based office - majority of time spent working from home.
Day rate: £500-550
Duration: 12 months, possibility of extension
