Software Developer SMACQ

• Work on a full time basis on development and maintenance of NATO software;
• Work in a team that uses Scrum as a methodology;
• Work closely with the customer or representatives of customer;
• Perform activities in the area of defining System / Software architecture;

Requirements

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
• Relevant experience in full stack software development based on Java backend and HTML5 front-end
• At least five years relevant experience in software development;
• Able to speak and write fluent English since the work is conducted in English
• Relevant experience in software design;
• Relevant experience in user interface design;
• Relevant experience with developing a front end with Angular;
• Experience with and knowledge of Spring framework, including but not limited to Spring boot, Spring web, Spring beans and Spring security;
• Relevant experience in working with databases: a. Spring Hibernate integration b. PostgreSQL
• Experience with IP networking: a. IP, TCP and UDP b. HTTP c. SSL
• Web service design and implementation: a. REST b. SOAP
• Relevant experience in verification and validation of requirements, e.g. during system tests
• Familiar with Agile SCRUM methodology
• OAuth2 authentication
• Desired experience and skills:
• - D3.js JavaScript library
• - Geographic Information Systems
• - Experience with DevOps: a. Continuous Integration, b. Automated Testing of software
• - NATO Tactical Data Links
• - Configuration Management
