ALTEN Ltd is involved in innovation development for top customers within aerospace & defence, ground transportation, energy & life science industries in the UK. ALTEN Ltd is currently seeking engineers with high potential to join an expanding team due to a continuous demand of customers.

As part of our development in the Defence sector, we are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer with a significant experience in Power & Propulsion.

Your new role

As an Electrical Engineer you will be part of ALTEN’s team, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering skills to external and internal clients and to assist in the development of business growth. You will have to implement your expertise to deliver defined artefacts in support of projects to our clients. Working within multi-disciplined team, you will focus on developing innovative solutions to meet customers' needs and expectations.

Required experience

• Strong background in naval engineering practices within the Defence Industry
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the development and integration of Power and Propulsion electrical equipment in the naval environment
• Knowledge of P&P System design processes
• Appreciation of wider Warship platform design and principles of operation
• Knowledge of Lloyds regulations

Qualifications required 

MSc in engineering or related degree or BSc and relevant experience within the domain.
