Role Summary:GE Renewable Energy's Offshore Wind business is growing rapidly, and is establishing a presence in the North East of England in support of Offshore Wind projects in the North Sea. We have an opportunity to join our team in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. As part of the Installation/M&E team you will be responsible to engineer the offshore installation strategy of the wind turbine components, provide the methods, transport, installation tools, manpower & responsible to manage the offshore execution.
Essential Responsibilities:Reporting to the project director the candidate will be responsible to cover the package related to the offshore installation of the Haliade-X wind turbines from load-out of the components at quay side to the handover to commissioning including pre-assembly of the tower at the marshalling harbor and offshore Mechanical and Electrical completion works.

• Issue and revise all contractual deliverables including RAMS, lifting plan, mobilization plan to Customer and MWS and internal documentation such tooling list, specifications for equipment and manpower to execute the package
• Manage all installation interfaces with Customer and marine contractor providing the installation vessel and other contractor such as foundation provider
• Address all technical questions towards Customer, other Contractors, and internally towards engineering, installation department and project team
• Organize and plan installation reviews, risk assessments and offshore operations
• Size and mobilize the installation team
• Request to the installation department and mobilize in due time all tools for transport and installation purposes together with the Installation department
• Manage mobilization of GE equipment on vessel and participate to construction phase with the construction leads
Qualifications/Requirements:• Master's degree or equivalent in mechanical or offshore engineering
• Strong experienced in offshore project execution and management of operations with +8 years of experience in offshore wind sector

Eligibility Requirements
• Experienced in managing multidisciplinary operations on T&I or large EPCI project preferably in offshore wind
• Experienced in contract management and adverse weather management
• Good knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Willing to relocate to Newcastle UK or travel frequently during engineering phase and construction phase
