This is an opportunity for a security cleared software engineer to take a key role in the development of a public sector digital service, built for the benefit of the nation.  The successful candidate will work to government digital service standards to build a data analytics solution that will drive efficiency and effectiveness in procurement and supply. 

Required Skills / Experience 

• Excellent .NET / C# / SQL Server / Power BI development skills 
• Strong MS data / analytics project experience, specifically deploying data pipelines through Power BI 
• Significant experience building scalable cloud-based web applications (preferably Microsoft Azure) 
• Broad MS Azure Data platform experience 
• Agile development experience (Scrum/Kanban), continuous integration, test-driven and version control 
• Experience of implementation toolkits and APIs for purposes such as integration, performance optimisation, security and scalability 
• Ability to code in the open source using Git 
• Front-End scripting skills (e.g. JavaScript, SASS, Angular JS) 
• Excellent consulting / stakeholder engagement skills 
• Strong experience working in an Agile, ideally within a GDS led environment 
• Appreciation for agile working methods and Government Digital Service standards

• Duration:  6 Months (Initially) 
• Location: Hampshire - Candidates must be prepared to be on site 3 days per week
• Rate offered:  £400 per day 
• IR35 Status:  Outside 
• Security Clearance / Level:  SC (Active)
