Job Details

The new Force team sees the formation of a dedicated group of investigators committed to seeking justice to victims of CSE whilst mitigating the threat posed by predators. Investigations will involve both historic and current matters, if appropriate those current threats will involve mitigation by other 'non-conventional' policing tactics.

The Team seeks to create a centre of excellence in investigation, safeguarding and threat management by working alongside an embedded multi-agency unit.
Key to delivery across Greater Manchester will be to the unit's ability to provide specialist support to district teams, providing direction and strategies to be locally delivered by police and partners.

CSE is one of the most challenging areas but also one of the most rewarding areas of UK policing.
