Serco Marine is a team of 22 people contracted by International Nuclear Services (INS) to deliver ship management services to the PNTL fleet.
We are looking for a Contract Operations Manager for the provision of administrative and management duties within the Serco Maritime (INS) Operations Department. The reason for this role is to act as the focal point for the day to day operations for the management of the PNTL vessels. This role includes responsibility for arranging meetings and uploads to Business continuity and risk management software, upkeep of the Site action planner, customer meeting actions and production of Key Performance Indicator Status Reports. Operations is a key part of the role as you will liaise with the Customer, including attendance at Readiness Review meetings regarding voyage schedules and specific voyage requirements. Liaising between INS and Agents to retrieve information regarding guidance on specific issues and approval of Voyage disbursement invoices. You will also be expected to manage and be responsible for the safe efficient operation of all aspects of the Serco Marine Services (INS) Report Centre, including 5 Report Centre Operators.
This role is fast paced and requires a lot of multi-tasking daily. However, you will be part a tight knit team who are proud of the work we do.
What you need to do the job
This is a good opportunity for someone who holds a Foundation Degree in Business Management or equivalent in relevant topic. Ideally, we are looking for someone from a logistics/operations background who has a minimum of 3 years general office experience. The successful candidate must have a good standard of communication with senior level management and have strong skills in time management, leadership and organisation.

Working hours are between Monday to Friday (occasionally flexibility may be required).
