About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Vehicle Mechanic to carry out routine and bespoke inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis mechanical/electrical repair to a wide range of advanced Military wheeled vehicles.
You will be based in Warminster, however as required you will be working across a number of different locations in the UK during the working week. After 12 months employment in the role there is also a possibility of being deployed overseas for up to a month at any one time too.
What do I need to do the role?
You will hold a recognised qualification in Automotive Engineering with a minimum C&G level 3 or BTEC/IMI/NVQ equivalent or have served in HM Armed Forces as a Vehicle Mechanic Class One.
You will also hold a B1 driving license and demonstrate IT competency in utilising laptops and diagnostic computers with a good understanding of MS Word and Excel.
In addition to this you will be happy to travel where the work is required.
