About the Role
Here at Babcock International Group in Rosyth, we are currently looking for a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to join us. We aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our Engineering, Specialised Manufacturing, Gas Handling Systems and Naval Marine business streams.
Principal areas of accountability will be to; Carry out all planned maintenance on allocated plant & machinery, Carry out all repair and installation activities and resolve any issues and Carry out maintenance to auxiliary equipment including Jigs/Fixture.
Oversee and co-ordinate the compilation and maintenance of essential records, to including statutory records, PPM records, risk assessments and method statements to comply with required ISO standards.
The role also focuses on improving the reliability of key machines by taking a proactive approach to preventative maintenance activities and continuous improvement activities.

What do I need to do the role?

We would like you to hold a minimum of an ONC or HNC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, along with all or some of the following:
• Knowledge and understanding of Servo systems
• CNC fault diagnosis using PLC
• Experience of Renishaw ball bar & Renishaw sub routines essential
• Knowledge of CNC machine tools and servicing/repair
