Senior Java Developer

Location: Roles across the South of England

Clearance: SC Cleared OR eligible to obtain SC clearance

Salary: £65,000 to £70,000

Our client are seeking a experienced Senior Java Developer. They have, in the last month, engaged on large scale IT Transformation project with public sector and defence clients. Successful candidates will be leading on technical projects delivering high end technical solutions into a project.

The successful candidate will wokr closely alongside the end customer to understand the requirement. You will be responsible for designing technical services and plan system integration and selecting necessary platforms and technologies to meet project requirements and user needs. You will also provide technical leadership and consultancy to both internal and external development teams, ensuring infrastructure is fit for purpose, whilst meeting time and budget restraints

Skills and Technology

• In depth knowledge of Java and Spring projects
• Experience with large scale integration projects
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Powermock, Mockito
• Understanding of Agile (Scrum) environments, continual delivery techniques and dev-ops cultures
• Experience of Continuous Integration methodologies such as Jenkins, Maven, GIT

You will hold SC clearance or be eligible to obtain SC clearance
