Airframe Systems
Our Airframe Systems division brings together an extensive range of skills and abilities to support some of the world's leading commercial, business and military aircraft manufacturers.
Role Summary
The successful applicant will be responsible to assist in maintaining quality system,
continuous improvement of processes, and to support development and transition activities
in adherence with internal and customer quality requirements.

Job Core Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be able to perform following tasks as required
• Lead / participating in product and process improvement activities
• Lead customer interactions and support approval process
• Monitor and report process stability and capability by analyzing data
• Review and update, create Control plans, PFMEA and process work flow instructions
• Work with other functions within the business to ensure project needs are aligned
to internal Transition Process and all relevant paperwork is completed
• Investigating quality issues and defects, and providing written cause and corrective
action responses
• Lead FAIR activities for new and transition parts
• Review and create Quality Documentation
• Use quality problem solving tools like 8D, Ishikawa and 5 Whys
• Support Quality Audits - both internal &external and in order to ensure compliance
to internal, customer and any regulatory standards
• Train & develop operatives and inspectors in quality and procedures
• Identifying key characteristics requirements and processes, performing SPC and
MSA studies

Skills & attributes

Requirements:
• Excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 /AS9102
• Experience in handling customer queries
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
• Experience of working within a manufacturing / machining environment
• Awareness of requirements for Mechanical Engineering processes from a quality
perspective
• Six Sigma Green belt trained or accredited or equivalent lean skills
• Experience with New Product Introduction
• Knowledge and awareness of the HSE aspect from a Quality perspective
• Able to compile or generate First, Last Article reports
