Junior Project Manager

Based in: London (remote working)

Length of contract: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Clearance Required: Basic DBS

A Central Government organisation is seeking a proactive Project Manager to take control of two external communications projects currently in motion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive forward two projects that have the aim of delivering large sets of complex information for external communications for the organisation’s website
• Lead the projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints
• Bring cohesion to the current project plan, ensuring milestones are set and met
• Manage and engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Lead on the effective transition between project phases
• Manage project spend and contribute to the compilation of budgets
• Lead potential risk areas, escalating as appropriate

Key Requirements:

• Project management experience essential
• Experience of working on projects involving the publishing of data, information, and communications to an organisation’s website
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / Prince2 certification ideally
