My client, an international financial services provider based in Manchester are actively looking for an IAM Lead to join their expanding security team. This role is a newly created position and will allow you to continue to build out and define their IAM capability. Interview process and on boarding would be fully remote initially, however you must be able to get to Manchester as normality resumes.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the Identity and Access Management Lead are to:

  • Establish an Access Management Working group with key representation from IT, HR, System Owners and Business Line Managers.
  • Perform an investigation to review and document the current "as is" Joiner Mover Leaver processes including capturing existing process documentation, roles and responsibilities, operational tools involved and determine what systems connect to current IAM tools
  • Document and agree the end-to-end target state Joiner Mover Leaver processes, addressing key people, process, Control Standards requirements including initial assessment of suitability for integration with UK systems
  • Document Business case and roadmap to implement agreed target state operating model and seek executive approval for this

Skills, experience & qualifications:

  • The role holder should have excellent understanding of Information Security best practice and regulatory requirements and should have recent experience of design and maintenance of Joiner Mover Leaver processes and IAM tooling.
  • Take responsibility and act autonomously;
  • Plan, organise and prioritise tasks and projects;
  • Have the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively and
  • Be a strong team player;
  • Be able to interact proactively and confidently with all areas of business, including senior management and product owners
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English.
