There's never been a more exciting time to join the IS Branch. Information Services Branch are delivering a new IT infrastructure to keep police up-to-speed with real time information whilst they're on the street.

As a result, they are recruiting for a number of roles; all boasting a solid combination of strategic development opportunity and daily challenges that will stretch the mind of any proactive IT professional.

The restructured IS Branch manages a number of internal and external services. It is vital that these external services are delivered to a consistent set of standards and that the IS Branch is able to apply a consistent set of processes to the monitoring and management of the suppliers of these services. In addition, the suppliers of services are required to collaborate with one another to ensure the effective delivery of quality services.

You will be responsible for Management and resolution of IT Technical Problems from identification and mitigation, through to successful remediation in a complex multi-vendor IT Ecosystem, following ITIL and industry best practice.

The successful candidate will possess developed technical, organisational, leadership, planning and communication skills, and have significant experience of working in a similar role within a complex, high-transactional, operational environment. They will be responsible for delivery of both reactive and proactive Problem Management activities to resolve complex IT Problems, affecting both in-house and externally provided systems and services within the Target Operating Model.
