Role: Principle Software Engineer
Location: Somerset
Salary: up to £67,771
My client, a distinguished government organisation, are on the lookout for a Principle Software Engineer to shape the direction of how they manage their functions, frameworks, and practises within a large team of developers.
Primarily a hands-off approach, you'll work with the delivery teams across the business in order to lead the day-to-day technical and best practise choices, ensuring that the continuous delivery pipelines are effective.
You'll have experience across the following:
- Leading software development teams
- Understanding of software development, ideally stemming from a development past
- Working experience of implementing change
- Proficient in operating and supporting live services hosted on-premises and in the cloud
- Expertise in DevOps related practises
