Role Overview
The Global Reward Director is responsible for planning and managing key Reward deliverables. The role involves planning and overseeing all aspects of key projects, and meeting the project's goals on time and within budget. The GRD will be required to organise people, tasks and resources to ensure successful delivery.
The Global Reward Director will be given direction from the Global Head of Reward, and supported by 2 Reward Analysts and a Reward Manager. #LI-SJ1

Core Responsibilities
Remuneration Committee and Governance
- Input into RemCo paper drafting
- Input into the Directors Remuneration Report (incl CEO Pay Ratio, Single Figure etc)
- Responsible for delivering equal pay and related compliance requirements such as Gender Pay Gap (UK) and OFCCP (US). Advise and monitor other country requirements.
- UK Benefits. Meggitt will look to improve its UK Benefits processes and communication.
- In-depth experience of managing the full range of UK benefits including: Pension (DC, but DB experience is a distinct advantage), Company Cars, Voluntary Benefits/Flexible Benefits, Private Medical Insurance, Global Benefits. Meggitt will RFP for a global benefits broker.
- Manage this project in conjunction with Procurement
- Engage Global Stakeholders in Meggitt's 14 countries to ensure a global view is taken
- Gather and analyse benefits data from 14 countries and identify opportunities for improvement in provision or cost
- Create a long-term global benefits action plan from their investigations into global benefits provision
- Ensure a cost-focused
- Meggitt will implement Global Grading. It's essential that the GRD has working knowledge of Willis Towers Watson Job Evaluation
- Assist with design and implementation of global grading
- Mentor and train the global HR community to ensure quality local implementation of global compensation plans
Skills, Experience & Competencies
- Experience with contributing to or drafting papers for RemCo and inputting into the DRR
- A process expert with tangible examples of process improvements leading to service and cost improvement for the HR function.
- Proven track record of managing reward projects in UK Benefits and globally.
- Understanding of arrangements such as captives, multinational pooling would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of at least one point factor evaluation system (WTW Global Grading preferred)
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, with a strong financial/commercial focus, but maintain the "big picture" view
- Self-Starter / Self-management skills, and excellent emphatic communication skills across all levels in the company.
- Experience of working globally with different cultures
- Demonstrates a high level of ethical behaviour in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- 5+ years' experience of global reward project management in a variety of territories
- Aerospace and Defence industry or similar manufacturing engineering experience, is a distinct advantage
- Management in a matrix environment, and experience of managing a globally located team
