About the role
Here at Cavendish Nuclear, we're seeking an Application / BI Developer to work as an integral part of the Business Improvements Organisation (BIO) team to assist in the delivery of fit for purpose data management and business information systems, applications and user outputs, and to deliver BI capability to management and users across the Business.
The role combines business needs analysis and technical delivery of solutions.

The role...
• Work with the business improvements team and reach-back into the business teams to establish the requirements for business data applications and BI reporting
• Develop implementation plans for BI and reports
• Determine best-fit tools available for reporting and BI needs
• With the Business Improvement organisation architect, manage the interface of data between Babcock Group supplied apps and DW, into the Cavendish Nuclear environment
• Work to deliver database and application solutions, providing an integrated Self Service tool kit to managers and users across Cavendish Nuclear, including hands-on deliver and development
• Conduct Gap analysis in data sets for BU needs
• Delivering BI solutions in line with the priorities set out and agreed through the Business Improvements Organisations processes
• Providing solutions to manage data-sets and updates

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need...
• Angular as Front End Development
• C# and SQL as backend development
• Power BI preferable although not essential
• BI / Reporting experience
• Some experience with SSRS and ideally SSAS would be nice to have
• Development of implementation plans for BI and reports
• Determine best-fit tools available for reporting and BI needs
• SAP

What do I need to do the role?
Experience / Qualifications / Skills

Essential:
• Experience in the use and implementation of BI tools and applications
• Experience in the creation and implementation of BI reports for users
• Experience in toolkits and IT applications used for DW and BI, with preferably a working knowledge of Microsoft based tools
• Experience in SAP, SAP transactions and SAP reporting capabilities across the modules, especially Finance, procurement and Projects. An understanding of Success Factors would be beneficial.
• Experience in management processes and systems for data management and storage
• Experience in the application and rules of information assurance, which could include DPA

Desirable:
• An understanding of SuccessFactors
