Skills and Knowledge:
a)   Expert knowledge of SharePoint farm administration with profound level skills on SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016 
b)   Expert knowledge on the installation of Updates and Patches to the Microsoft Server operating System and SharePoint farm. 
c)   Profound knowledge on Microsoft PowerShell 
d)   Profound knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and higher 
e)   Profound knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server High Availability 
f)    Profound Knowledge of Windows Server 2012R2; Windows Server 2016, Active Directory, DNS management; Group policy management; 
Desirable Specific Experience: 
a)   Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert SharePoint 

- Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated knowledge and experience of NAEW&C Force CIS Squadron organisation, procedures and IT Systems. 
- Preference will also be given to candidates with a demonstrated knowledge and experience on SharePoint farm migration from SP2010 to SP 2013 to SP2016. 

Duties/Role: 
The HQ is looking for someone to support their process of accrediting a large number of software applications and systems. They have a large number to tackle, plus new capabilities come online all the time. The specific tasks identified for the role, and associated skill/knowledge requirements, are as follows: 
-    Perform daily maintenance on the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2016 farm to ensure a stable, secure, fast and “healthy” SharePoint farm 
-    Perform both SharePoint front-end (web) and back-end (MS SQL Server) maintenance 
-    Enable/Disable SharePoint features and provide full technical and knowledge support on the usage of the SP features 
-    Tune the SharePoint farm for fast response times 
-    Ensure Backup and Recovery up to item level 
-    Cooperate with team colleagues and share knowledge 
-    Participate in analysis of causes and incidents of IT Service failures (including IT System trouble-shooting) and effecting appropriate action to correct problems; 
-    Provide support needed to ensure the continuous availability of all required software application functionalities
