RAF Northolt, Ruislip


About the role

Babcock International have a vacancy at RAF Northolt for a Fuels Operator in the Group Services from RAF Northolt to the Customer and other Contractors. We operate a 4 people day to day who are on a 24/7 shift system.

Main Tasks will include;
  • Promote a first class safety first culture built on solid aviation and ground fuels principles and policy.
  • Babcock interface with Station Ops and Flight Safety team at RAF Northolt
  • Provide daily updates to RAF Northolt Supply Manager highlighting any problem areas/concerns
  • On call for any issues required at RAF Northolt which may include out of hours support.
  • Work with all Babcock stakeholders to ensure their operational needs are suitably met at RAF Northolt in order for us to maintain the required output. Work with the Authority and other contractors to overcome any constraints.
  • Regular dialogue with the MMO ensuring all maintenance and works services are progressed and advised to OC Eng/Supply Manager and A4 Fuels

What do I need to do the role?

You must have fuel operator and tanker experience. You will also hold a full driving licence, CPC and LGV.

You will also ideally have a qualification in RAF Fuels and previous experience within working on MOD sites.

You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and IT literacy, as well as a sound team ethos.
