Modis is currently recruiting for a respected Automotive and Motorsports company within the Cambridgeshire area, and due to recent expansion, are now seeking for enthusiastic and passionate Software Engineers for video and data analysis primarily in the Motorsport domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Consult on solutions for some of the world's largest companies.
  • Writing with clean code principles.
  • Understand new software techniques and implementing these for improved success.

Key Skills:

  • 2:1 bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Development languages proficiency: C, C#, C++, etc.

Desirable:

  • Cross-platform development (Xamarin, iOS, Android, Windows, macOS).
  • Clean and intuitive GUI design.
  • Asynchronous and multi-threaded programming.
  • Data acquisition and analysis.
  • Developing high quality embedded software in C/C++.
  • Linux application development (e.g. Qt, IPC, multi-threading).
  • Automotive software and diagnostics.
  • CAN bus.
  • Video capture, processing and encoding.
  • Data acquisition and real-time processing.
