THE OPPORTUNITY

Do you have previous Air Applications (Air C2) System Administration support experience? Are you looking to play a meaningful role in a creative environment? If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts supporting NATO! 

Location: Ramstein AFB and contract due to start Jan 2020.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Your daily role responsibilities with our company will be as follows:

  • Install, operate and maintain assigned AMDC2 Systems and software, Databases and other Applications and ICT Platforms (IS), and keep abreast of the latest developments in these areas.
  • Support applications and data integrity of assigned ICT Platforms (IS), IT Service Continuity Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Maintain liaison with other CSU internal units, Service Lines and other technical organisations.
  • Detail the design and configuration of assigned applications and ICT Platforms (IS), and required operating procedures.
  • Implement procedures, tools and techniques for monitoring and managing performance of applications and ICT Platforms (IS) and provide reports.
  • Monitor and report on capacity of the assigned applications and Platforms.
  • Assist with, and implement, assigned project work packages.
  • Directly support BMD Mission through participation in a BMD Duty Support Shift, which may operate on a 24/7 basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

If you have passion for the work described above, here are the basic qualifications we are looking for:

  • Knowledge of various AirC2 systems: ICC, Niris, CSI, JRE GW, SEW.
  • Experience within the area of Systems Administration of complex computer systems.
  • Knowledge of AirC2 systems.
  • Experience with Tactical Data Links (TDL).
  • Ability to take initiative and a flexible approach allowing you to respond reliably and competently to changing requirements in a fast paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to be responsive and sensitive to both external and internal customers and staff.
  • In possession of active NATO Secret and National security clearance.
