In this exciting role, you will provide high level analytical support to the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) Investigations Syndicate based either at Horsham or Slough.

You will assist in the prevention, targeting, disruption and detection of crime. You will use analytical techniques to create intelligence products to inform relevant strategic and tactical planning to the standard defined within the National Intelligence Model (NIM).

You will provide an efficient and effective analytical service for SEROCU Investigations Syndicate, producing National Intelligence Model knowledge products and analytical techniques to inform relevant strategic and tactical planning in relation to regional organised crime activity.

You will have a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience and knowledge of the NIM. You will also have excellent communication and research skills with the ability to problem solve. Excellent IT skills and experience of preparing and conducting presentations and briefings are also essential to the role.

Due to the role requirements, it is essential that the post holder be prepared to be security cleared to SC enhanced level. This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home.
