Engineering Manager – Submarine Structures

Our client, a large government customer, are seeking an Engineering Manager – Submarine Structures to join their team. This role requires SC Clearance.

This role is preferred to be based in Barrow-in-Furness, however it would be possible to locate in Abbey Wood, Bristol with fortnightly 3-day attendance in Barrow.

Requirements are scheduled to run for 330 business days or until 31^st March 2021 (whichever comes sooner). This is a competitive tender and there is therefore no pre-defined price attached to this role. We suggest that a rate of £380 - £480/day will be competitive, however please approach us if you have different requirements.

IR35 STATUS: Inside IR35. Our client has indicated that they intend to operate the engagement as Inside IR35. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement.

The Role

This role involves approving the Dreadnought design for all secondary structure and outfit (bollards, hatches etc.)

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas are cannot be accepted.
