THE OPPORTUNITY

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Your daily role responsibilities with our company will be as follows:

  • Manage Project Plans. This task supports the establishment and maintenance of an up-to-date Project Schedules that are delivering capabilities for NATO or individual NATO Nations.
  • Support Communications and Reporting. Regular communications and efficient and timely reporting will be vital to the success of the projects.
  • Issue Management and Control, Risk Management and Benefits Realization. Development of procurement strategy, benefit risk analysis, business case in order to support and secure sponsor acceptance funding.
  • Prepare cost estimates, price proposals, statement of work, terms and conditions for the implementation projects.
  • Execution of the necessary Quality Assurance functions essential to the successful delivery of capability and services.
  • Delivery of projects within defined Time, Cost, Scope and Quality tolerances.
  • Performance of Portfolio and/or Program management across the portfolio of assigned work.
  • Using MS-Office suite, MS-EPM, and other software packages to support project and portfolio management.
  • Liaising with other Project Management Teams to ensure the integrity and coherence of projects with the wider NATO C3 systems and capabilities.
  • Collaborating with the Agency's sponsors to exchange and maintain full project transparency, status and knowledge information on funded and approved projects/services.
  • Taking role in acquisition process and preparing documents, point papers, letters, presentations, reviewing documents for language, format/structure, consistency, content, and providing comments.
  • Supporting the development of project highlight reports, project exception reports and associated material where applicable.
  • Managing project Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) sites and document Libraries;
  • Provide day-to-day management and control of project finances, including rising and tracking invoices and their payment as well as monitoring overall expenditure and funds.
  • Partner management and communications management;
  • Support project meetings, including coordinating meetings, preparing meeting rooms and recording minutes and actions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

If you have passion for the work described above, here are the basic qualifications we are looking for:

  • Degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
  • English native speaker or shall demonstrate having proficient English language skills (advanced level), orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively orally, using tact and diplomacy, and in writing with good briefing skills.
  • Be able to write comprehensive reports and documents in a short time for use by responsible authorities.
  • Have computer skills with experience in office support tools (MS Office package, including MS Project) and with the Windows environment.
  • Have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
  • A sense of integrity, diplomacy and propriety work harmoniously with colleagues and other staff, both civilian and military, from NATO and the NATO nations, as well as with staff from private scientific/ industrial organisations.
  • Project management experience working in a multinational environment acquiring complex C4ISR projects.
  • Recent experience in Application Migration Virtualized Data Center environments; leadership of formal acceptance testing for CIS capabilities; military Command and Control systems; Management information systems and deployed military CIS operations.
  • The technical background based on prior experience to understand all aspects of a CIS Architecture.
  • Experience with the common-funded acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the NATO and command with NATO Communications and information Systems (CIS) services.
  • Hands on experience and production of comprehensive statements, technical and programmatic documents.
  • A recognised formal Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or equivalent.
  • In possession of active NATO Secret or National equivalent security clearance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

It is highly desirable that the Contractor Staff has the following experience:

  • Experience with Risk Management.
  • Experience in crafting and system engineering of military or other C4ISR systems.
  • Proven success as a project team leader in C4ISR acquisition projects.
  • First-hand NATO Bi-SC AIS and their programmatic structure, technical requirements, architectural aspects and implementation processes.
  • Experience with NATO investment Committee and their supporting staff, contracting and contract administration procedures.
