Security Officer

Engie Services Ltd are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in Greater London

This is a permanent full-time role (working 42 – 60 hours per week). 

The main duties and responsibilities are:

• To provide effective security measures necessary for the safeguard of the property.
• Controlling and registering vehicular / pedestrian movements in accordance with site assignment instructions
• Health and Safety of self and others on the site
• Escorting and monitoring contractors or visitors to the site as instructed by Engie Management or Site User.
• In line with client requirements, maintain a check on the perimeter and external areas of the site checking for intrusion, fire or flood
• In line with client requirements, conduct regular, highly visible patrols of the site on the perimeter boundary and lockups when necessary
• Ensuring a correct response to all incidents or occurrences
• Undertake evacuation procedures as and when required in accordance with site assignment instructions
• Monitor CCTV , where applicable, to guard the site against trespassers, and to protect property from theft, damage or destruction.
• Undertake any reasonable requests by Engie Services Ltd management or the client
• Providing reliable and effective cover across numerous sites, if required.
• Ensure first class presentation at all times
• Develop strong professional relationships with customers, sub-contractors and Engie Services Ltd customer service teams
• Adhere to the Company policies and procedures and Assignment Instructions
• Be prepared to work flexible hours including nights, days, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA Security Guarding licence and CTC clearance is essential
• Applicants will be subject to a 3 months probationary period
