Role Summary/Purpose:
    The role will be responsible for the management of labour, materials and capacity in line with the product life cycle, including development of an integrated production schedule, driving key areas such as forecast and customer requirements, on site resource, new supply and vendor capacity to maintain on time delivery. The role will be reporting to product line's Materials & Planning Leader. There are two positions the business is currently recruiting for.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
  • Support Capacity and Labour Planning for the relevant product line including working with Material & Planning Leader, Senior Business Capacity Leader & Operation Leaders to meet organisational requirements
  • Establish and maintain the Planning tool for the relevant product line
  • Ownership of daily / weekly engine plan and site output tracker for the relevant product line
  • Monitoring of engines & modules from input to despatch to ensure on time delivery
  • Effectively meet gate closure criteria ensuring consistency across all product lines
  • Supporting the development & production of Stable Operations Metrics
  • Generate customer delivery metrics in support of any customer/ headquarter visits or requests
  • Represent/Support Materials & Planning Leader during key business meetings
  • Maintenance of production scheduling tool and associated production boards
  • Work with Operations Leaders to identify labour and tooling requirements based on annual engine component repair volume forecast
  • Act as the interface between operations and commercial teams
  • Generate daily delinquent engine tracker in support of GEAPS review
  • Ownership of Visit process collaborating with Fulfilment
  • LeadSupport digitalization of future planning tools
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Experience in a Manufacturing, Operations or Planning/Scheduling environment
  • Proven track record of delivery in a challenging role
  • Strong knowledge of SAP systems & ExcelStrong oral & written communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • This role is advertised as LPB but may be appointed as PB depending on skills, knowledge and experience
