Job Details
The Ministry of Defence are seeking a Risk Management Trainer to join them in Wyton.
Team: Ministry of Defence|MOD Core|Defence Infrastructure Organisation|DIO Management Group|DIO COO
Initial contracts will run until 31/03/2020 and offer a rate up to £390/day.
IR35 STATUS: Inside IR35. This engagement has been assessed by the public body as Inside IR35 legislation. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement.

This role requires Active SC (Security Check) clearance. Applicants require active SC clearance or the willingness to go through clearance before starting on site. Candidates with current clearance will be preferred.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop a range of training programmes.
- Produce course materials and other documents such as hand outs, manuals and exercises.
- Deliver training in both formal informal settings.
- Monitor and review training results to ensure knowledge is effectively embedded and utilised appropriately in accordance with learning objectives.
- Assist with the effective roll out of supporting operational processes.
- Help managers identify and address specific learning needs, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
- Share best practice and resources in training, learning and assessment.
- Conduct train the trainer sessions for key projects.
- Promote a professional image to customers (internal and external) at all times.
- Deliver effective and responsive training sessions in line with business needs to a range of audiences. Analyse feedback and engage in continuous improvement of training processes.
- Create and develop key performance indicators and review all elements of the Training Life Cycle.
- During training sessions, identify any variances in participant skill level and modify training accordingly.
- Create high impact, innovative training designs based on detailed analysis of business needs, delivering tailored training programmes across the business at a variety of levels, including management.
- Continuously monitor and review the progress of trainees, ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.
- Evaluate training and development programmes in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment, helping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems.
- Keep up to date with developments in training and ensure that e-learning techniques are fully investigated and employed where appropriate.
- Research new workplace learning technologies and methodologies and present this research.
Candidate Eligibility
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas are cannot be accepted. This role requires that candidates be willing to undergo BPSS (DS) Baseline Personnel Security Standard (with a Disclosure Scotland).
