Role Purpose
The Head of Global Early Careers role is to programme manage the full life cycle of our highly successful global accredited Graduate Rotational Programme and Corporate Apprenticeship programme as well as the development and implementation of our Global Internship programme. Responsible for delivering strategic and tactical programmes that align with group strategy, that are fit for purpose and reflect our HPC culture.#LI-SJ1
Job Core Responsibilities
Execution of programme and implementation of Graduate programme objectives and budget
Engagement with key programme stakeholders
Management and development of rotations balancing business requirements with developmental structure
Support the Global Mobility team in management of internal placements
Leading selection process to attract and retain top talent
Work with the businesses to further develop on existing rotational and static programmes
Develop a compelling online corporate narrative
Manage and develop further the UK Apprenticeship programme
Develop the US apprentice programme
Work with the business to Define, Develop and Manage the Internship Program both in UK & US
Partner with Talent Acquisition to build a talent pipeline
Rationalise and professionalise Meggitt's approach to social media including developing KPIs; regular content and links to .com; strategic approach to improve thought-leadership profile.
Ensure the development and delivery of retention plans such as Keep In Touch events
Job Specifications
Proven experience of defining, developing and managing a varied range of Early Careers programmes
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and at a global level
Management of steering committees
Good understanding of Global Mobility
Demonstrable experience of building brand presence particularly on social media to help in the attraction of top talent
Up to date knowledge of apprentice/skills development best practice
Ability to analyse data regarding L&D and ROI
A relationship builder with outstanding communication skills and the ability
