About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Central Planner to plan administration tasks to produce production plans for sites and deliver against planning output, ensuring ERP planning tools are accurately updated.

You will also be responsible for building working relationships with Operational support teams and support in the generation of a 12 month hard plan for MRO 4 Programme work.
• Delivering Planning output to defined internal Service Level Agreements (SLA) and contractual KPIs levels
• Generating production plans for all demands on the business
• Ensuring the ERP planning tool is the master location and data for production planning
• Employing consistent process, terminology and use of ERP system across Planning
• Ensuring continuous improvement (CI) initiatives are adopted
• Ensuring amendments to plans are not implemented until checks of capability and capacity have been factored in
• Escalating early on signs of potential KPI failures
• To produce accurate reports assisting with the development of Financial Year (FY) planning
• Ensuring H&S standards are followed including use of PPE, safe working areas and near miss reporting

What do I need to do the role?
You will have an in depth knowledge of capacity planning including resource and capability restraints and a good understanding on Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) principles.

You will also have excellent communication skills and demonstrate IT literacy.
