Heatric is the market leader in providing Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (PCHEs) and for over 30 years we have designed, manufactured and provided dedicated lifecycle support to a global customer base in the Offshore, Onshore, Marine and Power Generation markets.

Our Headquarters is in Poole Dorset where the majority of our 150+ employees are based. We have a second facility in Birmingham which conducts our chemical etching process. In addition to our UK sites we have sales offices in Brazil, Houston, Singapore and Korea.

Job Core Responsibilities

Purpose:
We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance team based at our Birmingham site. You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment ensuring optimum availability to meet the production requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance providing minimum impact on production
  • Provide first level fault finding on plant and equipment
  • Installation and test of new plant and equipment
  • Performs maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment
  • Management of inventory spares


Job Specifications

Key skills and competencies required:
  • 17th Edition qualified
  • Forklift Truck licensed
  • Able to recognise and solve typical maintenance issues from established operating procedures
  • Ability to work within a team environment and able to adapt to changes in work requirements
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
  • Must have the ability to be flexible (shift working may be necessary)
