About the role
Here at Cavendish Nuclear we're looking to recruit a Cost Engineer to join our team based in Newbury, Berkshire. The main responsibilities of the Cost Engineer will include:
•Supporting with SAP activities
•Receipting of invoices
•Raising orders
•Maintaining work breakdown structures
•Liaising with internal project teams to obtain and, where appropriate, challenge costs for a given project
•Maintaining close working relationships with internal teams such as finance
•Monitoring and reporting all cost related aspects for the project
This role would be perfect for someone making their way from a junior position (for example, Junior Cost Engineer or QS) to the next level, or someone looking to continue their career as a Cost Engineer. In this position you will gain valuable experience working within major projects.
What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to be proficient with MS Excel and the ability to work in complex high-pressured environments. Ideally you will have some major projects experience and good commecial acumen. Experience with an ERP such as SAP/Oracle would be preferable.
What else do I need to know?
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
