About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to join the team.
The Assistant Project Manager will support both Design and Manufacture activities on a cutting edge Defence Programme through management and delivery of defined scopes of work. These will include specific hardware deliverables to the customer and Engineering activities that ensure our solutions meet contractual requirements.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to manage defined scopes of work through development and production/procurement for delivery to customer in line with financial and schedule targets and provide support to the wider project team in the management and reporting of project resources, risk, opportunities and issues.
Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

• Preparation of forecasts and management of project budgets/timescales.
• Support internal and external project stakeholder management and communications.
• Collation and production of project data and reports to support governance and reporting arrangements.
• Creation of demand to the supply chain, supplier selection and management of suppliers to deliver in line with agreements.
• Managing, maintaining and updating of project documents.
