Role Summary/Purpose:
    A vacancy exists for an experienced Aircraft Engineer within the Engine Test Team. You will have the technical responsibility for the engine, its constituent parts and will be required to process maintenance data. Shift working requirements will be working a Modified Test shift working Days/ afternoons/ weekend cover.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Video borescope inspection of gas turbine engines as part of the incoming inspection process and the outbound testing process in accordance with OEM technical data.
  • Preparing, testing and dispatching engines as part of the outbound engine testing process in accordance with OEM technical data.Integrity
  • Ensure compliance with GE policy, procedure and regulatory requirements and ethical behaviorHealth & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.Quality

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Completed a formal engineering apprenticeship
  • Previous experience of mechanical engineering in the aerospace industry (DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE OF THIS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THE POINT OF APPLICATION E.G - Log Book/ Certifications)
  • Previous experience of borescope Inspection within the aviation industry
  • Previous experience of engine testing within the aviation industry
  • Shift working requirements this role will be permanent night shift.
