About the role

Here at Babcock International we're in search of a Senior Quality Assurance Auditor to join the team working on vast, complex projects within the Aviation industry. Babcock are a trusted name within this domain and are continuously growing, as a result we are looking for a driven, experienced professional to thrive within.

Using your experience you'll be responsible for carrying out precise internal and external audits in line with required standards, providing a highly competent service. You'll also be required to provide guidance to the engineering and operations departments on relevant national and international aviation regulations.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to have experience in an auditing role and have an appreciation of the aviation industry.

We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

• Experience of maintaining and carrying out the annual audit plan, including the completion and distribution of audit reports in a timely manner.
• Ability to raise and monitor findings raised from an audit and verifying the adequacy of the corrective and preventative action plan.
• Have a basic working knowledge of the aircraft types and equipment.
• Have an understanding SMS and ISO standards.

Lastly, you'll need to be able to deploy good communication and influencing skills as you'll work closely with the client and our internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies.

What else do I need to know?

• Some UK travel may be expected in supporting sites.
• The role will initially be based in Aberdeen.
• The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role and will also need to complete a medical assessment
