About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Signalling Design Verifier to lead, direct and undertake the independent checking of all plans / diagrams / drawings documentation produced by the team.

You will also be responsible for planning and organising activities and resources to meet programme deadlines and provide technical leadership and guidance within the team, promoting and supporting their ongoing development.

This is an exciting opportunity working in a large team of 24 with potential wider opportunities within Babcock for the right individual.

What do I need to do the role?

You will hold the appropriate technical qualifications e.g. ONC/HNC and Level 2 or 3 candidates must hold IRSE Design Verifier Licence or Principle Design Licence and are working towards Design Verifier Licence.

You will have excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.

You will also demonstrate IT literacy, especially in the use of CAD systems.

What else do I need to know?

This role may be considered for flexible working.

The position is a 35 hour working week with flexible start times between 07:00-09:15 Monday to Thursday and half a day Friday 08:00-13:00.
