About the role

Here at Babcock International Group in Rosyth, we are currently looking for an Administrator to join us. We aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our Engineering, Specialised Manufacturing, Gas Handling Systems and Naval Marine business streams.

You will be responsible for providing administration support within the Time and Attendance function in support of the delivery of an efficient and effective service to Babcock Marine.

Other responsibilities include;
  • Setting up new employees with schedules and leave balances.
  • Updating Annual leave /Sickness medical appointments
  • Shift amendments, overtime payments and flexible working agreements
  • Dealing with queries, sending reports and communicating at all levels
  • Checking of payroll output from out sourced payroll.
  • Carry out weekly and monthly auditing in line with agreed audit procedures.
  • Prioritise and plan tasks in order to meet deadlines.
  • Travel to our office in Faslane once a week

What do I need to do the role?

It is essential that you have experience with time and attendance, ideally in a large company.
You will be highly organised with the ability to challenge when needed. You will also have experience of working to tight deadlines.

What else do I need to know?

You will be based at our Rosyth site, however travel would be expected to Clyde in Faslane once a week.
Working hours are 37 per week; Monday - Thursday 08:00-16:30 with a Friday finish at 13:00, becoming a flexible working pattern after 6 weeks.
This position is on a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave starting from February 2020 with a handover period prior to this date.
