My client in the Barrow area is looking for a Systems Delivery Manager to join their team on a contract or permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of systems engineering along with strong leadership and programme management skills.
Please note, you must be a British National and hold a valid SC clearance.
Key tasks/Responsibilities
*Planning and reporting of team activities and status.
*Prioritisation of tasks within the team.
*Proactively drive delivery of the team.
*Identify work packages that are suitable for offload to the wider engineering team.
*Manage the integration of the wider engineering team delivery with the customer.
Essential skills
*Ability to understand and rationalize complex engineering issues/data and simplify into a tangible delivery plan.
*Ability to manage an engineering team and drive delivery.
*Programme management skills
*A strong knowledge of System Engineering principles to manage complex product design and development.
*You must be a British National and hold SC clearance
Desirable skills
Basic component knowledge: Pumps, Pipework and Valves and the principles of pressure equipment design.

Duration: 12 months for contract
SC Clearance is essential for this position
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level
