About the role
Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a C# / .NET Software Technical Architect to join an established and highly motivated team of technical development staff, who are working on challenging projects in the materials handling area. You will lead a variety of activities as part of this team and will be responsible for understanding technology as well as the high level solutions across the development projects, ensuring continual improvement on products, so in this role, you'll be responsible for end to end design whilst keeping a close eye on the overall solution.

This C# / .NET Software Technical Architect: will ideally hold an engineering background, and will understand systems engineering / automation and control, and will have the following skills / experience:
  • C#.NET / Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Web services / ASP.NET
  • Silverlight / WPF / Oracle inc. 11g / 12g

A background in material handling equipment / mechanical systems would be advantageous but is not essential.

What do I need to do the role?

This C# / .NET Software Technical Architect will have a background in performing software design of logistics solutions / materials handling IT systems to ensure that the overall implementation and testing follows the design.

What else do I need to know about the role?

  • You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
