Purpose
We are actively seeking a Quality Engineer, to join our expanding team; the successful candidate will provide Quality support and guidance in an aerospace manufacturing environment which produces Engine sensing system equipment.

Job Core Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Providing QA support to the manufacturing areas and projects
  • Provide QA support to the low Cost manufacturing sites
  • Strong Quality background within the Aerospace industry and a working knowledge of AS 9100 and AS 9102 is highly desirable.
  • Undertake the First Article Inspection Reports to AS 9102 and DVI standards.
  • To work closely with other Quality Engineer to ensure the supporting departments provide the objective evidence that demonstrates compliance to AS 9100.
  • To provide Key business metrics that demonstrates compliance to AS 9100 and customer requirements
  • Ability to analyse nonconforming data and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • To ensure prompt corrective and preventative action against nonconforming product and internal/external audit actions.
  • To support the First Article Inspection programme.
  • To release product in accordance with the company BMS.
  • To create relevant procedures as part of the continuous improvement programme.
  • Understanding of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause analysis.
  • Must be familiar with Rolls-Royce, Safran and UTAS quality requirements.
  • Understanding of Calibration systems.


Job Specifications

  • HNC / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Aerospace Quality Engineering, ISO 9001, AS 9100, AS 9102 , EASA Part 21 Subpart G / EASA Part 145
  • Aerospace SQA Experience
  • Problem solving tools
  • Supplier Audits
  • Continuous improvement
  • Computer literate - Excel, Word, SAP, Qpulse
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacture (Desirable)
