The Continuous Improvement Manager oversees the continuous improvement processes, while aligning with company policies and procedures. Ensures safe production of high quality products to meet customer needs in the most cost effective manner

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Leads and directs continuous improvement processes to ensure the continuous improvement of the plant
  • Analyses and measures the effectiveness of complex business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
  • Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data
  • Collects and analyses process data to develop business practices and procedures that enhance safety, increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes
  • Provides technical expertise and implements lean principles, techniques and methods
  • Manages crisis resolution to ensure continuous flow of product and plant
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
  • Meggitt Production System site lead, Working with functional owners to develop Gap analysis plan to achieve TTI's and or KPI's ( S,Q, D, I,P), Create and Execute Road map that supports MPS implementation at each stage of Process, deliver on MPS Deployment Plan


Job Specifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams as well as communicate effectively with all internal and external customers and employees in a timely and effective manner
  • Keen analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail in order to prepare statistical analysis
  • Effective technical sketch design and ability to measure and read basic blueprints
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and proficient with hand tools as needed
  • Basic Finance understanding
  • Experienced in operations management
  • Change Management tools knowledge
  • Strong Excel skills
