About the role

Here at Babcock we are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Direct Delivery Maintenance Engineer)

You will be required to play a leading role in the delivery of all Hard FM services. This will include the identification and implementation of a suitable regime to achieve and maintain legal compliance on the all building systems including -

  • Heating and ventilation, F Gas
  • Alarm systems
  • Lifts, Industrial Doors
  • Water Systems, Pressure systems
  • Fixed Electrical systems, Lighting Systems, Chiller Plant
  • Access and barrier systems

You will need to produce reports and records of maintenance and keep computer aided systems up dated.

The post holder will implement the business unit safe system of works and manage the supply chain to ensure they achieve excellent safe standards.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to have completed a recognised Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship or BTEC HNC, Electrical Installations C&G 236 or equivalent, Electrical Test and Inspection C&G 2394 or equivalent and hold a Full UK driving licence

What else do I need to know?

  • All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks. Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage.
