About the role
Here at Babcock International, one of the leading UK Vocational Training providers we are looking to add to our existing high performing team of Essential Skills Tutors to cover our training delivery commitments in Northern Ireland.

We are looking for certified individuals to deliver "essential skills" training across a variety of industry sectors to provide Literacy, Numeracy and ICT support to learners on a 1-2-1 basis. This will include ensuring all training that is required is planned and delivered to meet the Learning & Development strategy timescales. You will be responsible for managing you own diary to ensure that all learning interventions are carried out in line with each Students needs, including providing guidance an support throughout their training to ensure final subject matter end tests are completed within the timescales allowed.

You will also support with online reporting, ensuring that you deliver against the contracted commitments to our Clients to support Essential Skills training delivery as well as providing reports and progress updates to line management.


What do I need to do the role?

Company / Industry Knowledge:
• Has a minimum of two years' training design and delivery experience
• Has a minimum of two years' experience delivering maths, English and ICT/
• Understanding of the work-based learning environment

Qualifications:
• Holds recognised teaching qualification, preferably at Level 5 or above, or current accepted educational qualification as determined by the DfE in Northern Ireland
• Qualified to Level 4 in Maths, English and ICT

What else do I need to know?

  • All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks. Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage.
