Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Hours: 37 hours per week, with possible overtime
Contract: Full time, 12 months fixed contract - Maternity Cover

Sales Development & Marketing Coordinator - The Role:

The role will involve acting as first contact focal point for customers and visitors, managing the Company’s marketing activities and supporting and generating sales leads.

Sales:

• Research clients to identify and develop new business opportunities to introduce the company’s services across a wide range of industry sectors within the UK.
• Identify key decision makers; develop new relationships and cross-sell the company’s services to our existing clients.
• Exhibition Event; sales preparation such as marketing e-mails and appointment booking schedule
• Review tender alerts and asses suitability. Qualify opportunities and send to the team
• Tender application support
• Procurement Portal Management. Keep profiles up to date with company information and services. Manage renewal processes where appropriate
• Monitor sales e-mail inbox and reply to any queries Manage sales data for new and prospective clients in the company’s sales CRM database and prepare regular sales reports.
  

Marketing:

• Manage the digital marketing by use of Social Media to build the company’s online presence.
• Support the company’s marketing drive by booking and attending trade shows, conferences and other events.
• Create and distribute regular e-shots; track activities and follow up on leads.
• CRM Management
• Manage direct mail campaign at Christmas
• Business Award Research and Applications
  

Communication:

• Answering all inbound telephone calls, meeting and greeting visitors.
• Organising Company events
• Corporate Social Responsibility, including charity fundraising, staff event co-ordination, accreditation, new opportunity research and support with Occupational Health Development
• Updating the Visual Management tool
• Monitor info e-mail inbox and reply or forward on any queries
  

Sales Development & Marketing Coordinator - To be considered for this opportunity:

You will need to be a dynamic individual that can demonstrate the ability to develop strong business relationships.

• A minimum of 2 years marketing /sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills with a confident and personable telephone manner.
• Experience of digital marketing, telemarketing and face to face networking.
• Adequate competency using different software packages for planning/reporting purposes
• Self-motivated, working independently and reporting to directors
• An engineering, technical or military background would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
