Role Summary/Purpose:
    This is an hourly support role that will be based in Component Repair Wales (CRW 1) Working in the Chemical & Mechanical Cleaning Plant. The role involves working a shift pattern of 2 weeks days & 1-week afternoons, working one weekend in 3. Alternatively, it will be permanent Night Shift.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team in busy industrial environment
  • Understand and interpret Aircraft Engine Manuals and SPM process Manuals for chemical and mechanical Cleaning
  • Chemical Cleaning of Aircraft Engine components
  • Automated Mechanical Dry & Wet blast cleaning of Aircraft Engine components
  • Interact with other team members on all aspects of work.
  • Knowledge and understanding of EH&S Procedures.
  • Consistent in working in a safe manner
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality procedures
  • Flexible working between different processes.
  • Allocate work priorities throughout the cleaning department
  • Assist in Annual and Customer Audits
  • Use various computer systems - SAP
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Previous Chemical Cleaning and Chemical handling experience.
  • Mechanical Dry & Wet blast experience
