Snr Network Engineer (NATO) DV

10 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post;
Minimum 4 years' experience with and in-depth knowledge of Local Area
Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)/Telco provider networks and services delivery based on Alcatel-Lucent/NOKIA Service and Service Access Routers (SR/SAR) and Cisco routers and switches (ASA) and Cisco software (ISE);
*Experience in working in an SLA / SOP driven IT organisation;
*Minimum 5+ years of experience as a technical engineer in the Wireless
*Communications Industry in IEEE 802.11 standards
*Intermediate knowledge in optical transport systems
*Intermediate knowledge in authentication technologies
*Fundamental knowledge in all packet based protocols such as TCP/IP (including protocols like DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, etc.), MPLS and routing protocols such as OSPF,
*BGP4
*Knowledge of and experience with test plan creation, utilization, and results reporting for systems testing
*ITILv3 certified at foundation level;
*The incumbent must have a minimum of three years of CIS engineering experience and 5 years of experience in the management of CIS systems either as a service manage;

Desirable Experience and Education:
*ITIL v3 certified in Service Operations;
*Demonstrable evidence in maintaining knowledge of advances in Information
*Technology;
*Proven success as an operational and technical team lead;
