The Business Design team includes individuals with a range of specialist skills and interests and is involved in a range of activities. Some of the key responsibilities include the following:
Develop and maintain relationships with:
- Project Managers, Design Leads and project teams (including external consultants) to advise on, scope, deliver and/or assure suitable business analysis.
- The Business Design Authority (comprised of Senior Police Officers and Staff) to support the running of an effective and efficient design assurance process.
- Relevant Operational and enabling functions (which may include Digital Policing, insights and intelligence teams, Operational Command Units) to obtain information, problem-solve and collaborate to reshape the MPS.
- Head of IDD and line manager to support them in building the capability and capacity of the design specialism and its credibility in the wider MPS.
- Work closely day-to-day with their peers within IDD and in programmes where there is a need for integrated and collaborative working.
We view diversity as fundamental to our success. To tackle today’s complex policing challenges, we need a workforce made up from all of London’s communities. Applications from across the community are therefore essential and encouraged.
