The challenges facing the UK Government in the preparations to leave the EU are unparalleled. Whilst we hear about it in the news every day, the enormous amount of work required to get us there is quite a challenge.  

Due to the associated unprecedented level of change required, this Central Government Department has requested that Reed Professional Services (RPS) aid with raising the level of Project and Programme Management expertise within the organisation, working particularly on the EU Exit programmes. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team of experts in ensuring the success of the projects.  

Who will you be working for?  

RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer’s projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs.  

What will you be doing?  

As a core member of RPS’s Project Management Team, you will help our client across a broad cross section of programmes that need support both to raise understanding of the level of Project and Programme Management expertise, owing to the unprecedented level of change required.  

Using your exceptional Business Analysis skills, you will be required to support one of the programme teams.  You will work closely with the Lead Business Analyst within the client to develop requirements and solutions.  Our team of business analysts will be working with businesses to identify areas where performance or processes can be improved.  

Experience: Demonstrable experience of reviewing all business functions and determining a structure and maturity of processes as well as experience in supporting the development of user journeys and test scripts, project planning, process mapping, process evaluation and development.  As well as knowledge of process notion (BPMN)

Skills: You will be confident in managing and coaching teams as well as running workshops.  Along with managing governance and high-level decision making, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to apply your experience in these areas.  

Characteristics: There’s frequent internal and external stakeholder management involved, so you should be a compelling and considered influencer, with a consultative and approachable demeanour that will enable your team to deliver to the best of its ability.
