Integrated Logistics Support Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are actively seeking a highly personable and technically astute Integrated Logistics Engineer. The ideal person for this role will have experience supporting inventory, warehouse movement and deliveries within NATO, the MoD, Civil Service, the wider Armed Forces or a Defence organisation. You will be responsible for various tasks related to technical support. This work is located in Brunssum, The Netherlands and will suit those either already living there or willing to work within that location unencumbered. Sound like a great fit?

THE ROLE

• Your daily role responsibilities will be as follows:
• Conduct Asset Management activities/support throughout NATO.
• Conduct a physical inventory of all new CIS equipment received and shipped from Brunssum.
• Conduct warehouse movement and re-organisation activity to support the centralisation policy of the Agency.
• Compare requirements against deliveries and assign NATO stock numbers and warehouse locations using the new Oracle system.
• Scan equipment, update databases and labelling of equipment.
• Some physical work, e.g. moving and lifting of equipment should be expected.
• Familiar with the handling and safety issues of handling CIS Assets (equipment).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Inventory/Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Able to work with inventory data bases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NATO Secret Security Clearance.
