Salary: Up to £55,000 plus car allowance

About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a National Welding Manager to ensure that all welding work undertaken is within Railway Group and Network Rail Line Standards and all welding is delivered to the required quality, in a timeous and effective manner, following full co-ordination of the construction with the Renewals Managers.

You will work with a team of two supervisors and approximately twelve track workers on various projects in different areas of the UK. These are focused on Scotland and Northern Ireland at present.

What do I need to do the role?

You will hold the appropriate technical qualifications.

You will also have experience in supervisory first line management and demonstrate practical experience with Rail track welding projects.

You will also be fully conversant with Competency Assessment principals.

What else do I need to know?

This role may be considered for flexible working.
